Basketball in Cincinnati

Cincinnati is a basketball town. The Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area sends players to college every year, and the local gym culture — school ball, parish ball, club ball — starts young and runs hard.

The Top25Scouts Cincinnati chapter is built for the players inside that culture who have never been formally evaluated. Our Cincinnati basketball camps combine skill instruction with live competition and an evaluation from a scout who is watching the whole session, not a highlight clip.

Camps stay inside the Cincinnati metro, so a family in Mason, Norwood or across the river in Northern Kentucky is not driving hours to be seen. Every player who attends builds a Hoop Verified profile that follows them through the rest of the Top25Scouts pathway.

Age groups and camp format

Top25Scouts Cincinnati basketball camps are open to boys and girls in grades 3 through 12. Players are grouped by grade band and by skill level so every session is competitive for the players in it.

A typical city camp day runs skill stations, position-specific work and live games, with scouts watching every session. One-day clinics, two-day city camps and seasonal camps — holiday, winter, spring break and summer — all run under the same format.

Exact divisions for each camp are confirmed when the date and venue are announced.

Your Hoop Verified profile

Every camp applicant builds a Hoop Verified player profile — measurements, attendance history and evaluations recorded by staff, kept with the athlete's family account.

Local basketball in Cincinnati

Cincinnati players come from all over the metro — Mason, West Chester, Loveland, Norwood, Anderson, Fairfield, Hamilton and the Northern Kentucky river cities. Our camp venues are chosen with that spread in mind: easy highway access, parking, and enough courts to keep every group playing.

Top25Scouts already runs Road to Top25 events in the Cincinnati area, so local players who stand out at a city camp have a clear next step without leaving the region.

Start in your city. Earn your next opportunity.

Top25Scouts City Camps give players an opportunity to develop, compete and be evaluated within their local chapter. Players demonstrating readiness may be recommended for a Road to Top25 All-American Camp or another advanced evaluation opportunity.

Cincinnati camp questions

Who can attend a Top25Scouts Cincinnati basketball camp?

Boys and girls in grades 3 through 12 who live in or near Greater Cincinnati, including Northern Kentucky. Players are grouped by grade band and skill level, so club experience is not required to apply.

When is the next Cincinnati camp?

Dates and venues are announced once there is enough confirmed local demand. Apply now and you will be emailed as soon as the next Cincinnati camp date and venue are confirmed. No payment is required to apply.

Where in Cincinnati are camps held?

Inside the Cincinnati metro. Venues are confirmed camp by camp, with players travelling from Mason, West Chester, Loveland, Norwood, Fairfield, Hamilton and the Northern Kentucky river cities.

Does attending get my child ranked?

No. Applications, attendance and package purchases do not guarantee a ranking, nomination or invitation. A city camp is where a local scout sees your player and a verified profile gets built.

What is a Hoop Verified profile?

A verified player profile — confirmed name, grade, measurements and film — created through Top25Scouts. It is what scouts read before, during and after an event, and it stays with the player as they move through the pathway.

What comes after a Cincinnati city camp?

Players who stand out may be recommended for a Road to Top25 All-American Camp, a Top25Scouts Pro Exposure Series event or the National Combine. Recommendation is a scouting decision, never a purchase.
