LJ Xifaras is a tough cover with a balanced offensive game that allows him to hurt defenses in multiple ways. The Long Island City native plays with pace, embraces physicality, and can knock down shots from the perimeter while getting downhill to create scoring opportunities. That combination was on full display against Rundown NYC, where he finished with 30 points to help GSB 2035 pull away with the victory.
Xifaras brings value on the defensive end as well, showing active hands and a willingness to compete across matchups. Rebounding is another key part of his game, allowing him to secure the ball and initiate transition himself. His ability to handle responsibilities from the point guard position through the interior, while also defending positions 1–5, gives him added flexibility on the floor.

Xifaras’ combination of perimeter shooting, downhill aggression, and defensive versatility gives him a strong foundation to continue building on as he progresses through the 2035 class. Developing those tools while maintaining his physical style of play will be important to his growth.
